About Us
Joel is a Chartered Engineer and highly experienced mining engineering professional, graduating with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng Hons) in Mining Engineering from Camborne School of Mines in 2008. Since then, he has built a distinguished career within the UK mining industry, specialising in mine ventilation.
With broad technical expertise, Joel focuses on solving complex ventilation challenges through the application of proven engineering principles. He places a strong emphasis on accurate ventilation survey techniques and measurements as the foundation of effective mine ventilation engineering. His work is characterised by a practical, solutions-driven approach, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant underground environments.
In addition to his consultancy work, Joel contributes to the advancement of the field as a member of the IMVC (International Mine Ventilation Congress) Executive Committee, supporting collaboration and innovation across the global mining ventilation community.
